At One Life to Love, we believe in celebrating the people who embody resilience, leadership, and compassion—qualities that inspire us to keep protecting, educating, and empowering the children we serve. Today, we are proud to spotlight one of our very own board members, Coach Carli Figlio, who just reached an incredible milestone: 200 career victories as the head coach of Monmouth University’s field hockey team.
Since taking over Monmouth’s field hockey program in 2007, Carli has poured her heart into building a team culture grounded in perseverance, teamwork, and belief. Over 18 seasons, she has led the Hawks to multiple conference titles, NCAA tournament appearances, and now, a milestone very few in collegiate coaching achieve: her 200th career win.
That historic moment came on September 7, 2025, when Monmouth stormed past Rider with a resounding 7–1 victory. It wasn’t just a win—it was a statement of her program’s growth and dominance under her leadership.
Leading the Nation in Goals
Carli’s 200th victory is just one reason to celebrate. This season, her Hawks are soaring to new heights, currently leading the entire NCAA in goals scored—averaging 7.0 goals per game. With standout players like Anna Moors and Claire Campen fueling the offense, Monmouth is proving to be one of the most explosive teams in the nation.
The team’s success has also earned them their highest-ever national ranking: No. 19 in the NFHCA poll. It’s a powerful reminder of how passion, hard work, and vision can turn dreams into reality.
Carli’s Heart for One Life to Love
What makes this milestone even more meaningful for us at One Life to Love is that Carli doesn’t just invest in her players—she invests in children and communities across the world. As a board member, she has been a steadfast advocate for children who are often forgotten: orphans, children with disabilities, and girls fighting for their right to education.
Her leadership on the field mirrors her heart off the field: building people up, nurturing potential, and celebrating victories both big and small.
